The BYU Master of Social Work program is one of the strongest clinical social work programs in the nation. In addition to preparation for direct clinical practice with families and children, our rigorous research emphasis prepares students for top PhD programs. Together, these emphases prepare students to be leaders in their respective areas of social work. Our program offers a class size of 40, paid internships for all students and faculty-mentored research opportunities. Our alumni have an exceptionally high placement rate in the job market as well as into excellent Ph.D. programs.
