Why did you choose to pursue an MSW degree? I wanted an education that could help me with both my career and raising a family.
Why did you choose BYU's Social Work Program? I’ve always loved BYU! You can get a high quality education in a spiritually uplifting environment.
What are your thoughts on BYU's focus on a spiritually strengthening educational experience? It is so wonderful to be able to learn through the lens of spirituality. My faith is the most important thing in life and I am grateful that I could incorporate that into another important area, social work.
What are your thoughts on the family experience at BYU?
How did BYU's MSW program prepare you for your career? I felt nervous of course entering into my first job. There is still so much to learn in the field. However, I felt confident enough and most importantly confident in my ability to connect with and care for people. BYU helped us to really believe that the most important element is your relationship with those you serve.
