Congratulations to our FHSS graduating class! In lieu of recent events, a new site has been created in commemoration to FHSS graduates and graduation proceedings.
As the BYU College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences (FHSS), we join with President Worthen in expressing our deep sadness and indignation in response to continued acts of racial violence toward black Americans, such as the tragic murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery.
More than one million American men and women are veterans of the War on Terror—that is, veterans who served in the U.S. Armed Forces after September 2001. Contrary to popular belief, most veterans who return home do not experience PTSD or similar conditions.
