Why did you choose to pursue an MSW degree? I wanted to serve others because so many had served me and my family. I felt this was the perfect way to go!
Why did you choose BYU's Social Work Program? My husband works at BYU and BYU has always been "my" school. It was a privilege to be there!
What are your thoughts on BYU's focus on a spiritually strengthening educational experience? I loved having spiritually strengthening exercises part of my educational experience. It allowed me to combine faith with all I learned!
What are your thoughts on the family experience at BYU? Family is my #1 focus so it was a perfect fit for me!
How did BYU's MSW program prepare you for your career? It gave me the confidence to pursue a dream of helping others. It gave me experiences that helped to shape the way I do my job now and as a matter of fact, it changed how I interact with people altogether.
What are your career goals? Full time work for another 5 years then part time work as long as I can. Probably remaining in the school setting or may return to hospice. I work part-time in adoptions also.
